Regis College, a leading undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing school has introduced a new Aesthetic Immersion Certificate Program. This new program in the rapidly growing field of medical aesthetics provides nurses and other healthcare professionals additional career opportunities.

The program is tailored to medical professionals with an active and unrestricted medical license in their field of practice. No previous experience in medical aesthetics is required. However, students applying for admission to this program must have an active license as an RN, APRN, MD, PA, or DMD.

“With a sustained demand for treatments that enhance one’s appearance, this new medical aesthetics program answers a marketplace demand for those who are properly trained to deliver such treatments., This certificate program provides a comprehensive didactic curriculum combined with hands-on skills for healthcare providers to develop competency in medical aesthetics,” said Sharon Higgins, G'11, DNP '23, NP-C, ONC, WCC, interim dean of nursing. This program is ideal for licensed physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and dentists who are interested in taking a step further in their journey towards working in medical aesthetics.

Regis has partnered with Aesthetic Mentor, a leading medical aesthetics training center in the Boston area, to deliver this program. Students will learn in a 2:1 student-to-teacher ratio structure and gain hands-on training on eight to 10 live models for an intensive hands-on clinical experience.
