“We are thrilled to nominate Vanessa for this honor given her talents as a creative writer and her arduous work as editor for the Regis College literary journal, Hemetera,” said Julia Lisella, Professor of English at Regis. “The Intercollegiate Poetry Showcase features more than 15 colleges across the Greater Boston area and serves as wonderful opportunity to showcase the depth of skill and talent of our students and to exchange ideas with other poetry students and editors in and around Boston. The conference is one of many ways that Regis supports students’ efforts to discover their passion and interests.”

The showcase features several different colleges in Greater Boston, each selecting one student to represent their institution. These students will have their poetry published in the Intercollegiate Chapbook Anthology and be invited to read their work at the event.

Massachusetts based poet Diannely Antigua will be this year’s keynote speaker at the event.

This year’s Intercollegiate Poetry Showcase, hosted by Mass Poetry, will be held on Thursday April 11, at Porter Square Books: Boston Edition. The event is free to the public.
