The Eleanor Welch Casey Theatre, the focal point of the Fine Arts Center, is nothing short of spectacular. Its 650 seats rise in a gentle slope to the control room at the back of the hall, and sight lines are excellent. Equipped with advanced lighting, audio, and staging technologies, this venue is as fine a theatre as any in the Boston area.
Serving also as a concert hall, the Casey Theatre is equipped with a portable acoustical shell that can be used to enhance musical presentations of all types. The theatre's splendid acoustics have inspired a number of classical and contemporary musicians to use it as a professional recording studio.
