Heather Gilmour
Head Field Hockey Coach
Heather Gilmour, who joined the Regis College athletic staff in 2002, serves as our Assistant Athletic Director, and Head Field Hockey Coach. She was named Commonwealth Coast Conference Field Hockey Coach of the Year in 2003 after leading the Pride to the conference semifinals.
Gilmour was a starting defender from 1994-97 at the University of Southern Maine and returned as an assistant for the 1998 and 1999 seasons. From there, she moved on to East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, a strong Div. II field hockey program, for the 2000 season. She worked as a graduate assistant at East Stroudsburg while earning her master's in sport management.
Immediately prior to arriving at Regis, Gilmour was the assistant field hockey coach at Div. II powerhouse Bryant College in Rhode Island. The 2001 season was Bryant's most successful to date, as the team finished the year ranked tenth in Div. II.
In addition to her coaching duties at Bryant, Gilmour was responsible for the academic support programs for student-athletes and acted as an advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
