Biology students have the opportunity to conduct research on campus in the areas of developmental biology, immunology, ecology, microbiology, physiology, and genetics. Off-campus internship programs are also available. Recent biology students have interned with organizations such as:

  • New England Aquarium
  • Museum of Science
  • Shriver Research Center
  • Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
  • University of Massachusetts Medical School
  • Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute
  • Genetics Unlimited
  • Faulkner Hospital
  • Biogen

In addition to moving on to graduate school, our biology graduates are pursuing careers in such fields as medicine and allied health, basic science research, education, biotechnology, health physics, epidemiology, computer science, law, sales, and laboratory management and administration.
